You spend your day and all of your energy cultivating growth and possibility of your students, now make some time to nurture yourself.
This yoga practice is designed to help you rediscover your breath and cultivate your own sense of strength and support. Connect to your own courage, stability, and enthusiasm—inside yourself and outside the classroom.
In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. Come move, breathe, relax, and reconnect and take care of yourself first!
