Join Michele in this gentle class which uses both the yoga mat and a chair and is designed for relaxation.
“BackCare Yoga” is a gentle class that combines therapeutic movement sequences and specific yoga postures to help prevent and alleviate back problems.
You will gain a basic understanding of the language of the practice and will learn to control your actions and to steady your body, your breath, and your mind. Leave prepared to join regular classes.
This monthly gathering of women offers a nondenominational, intergenerational, and diverse space which is open to all.
Each session will focus on a Mantra and will incorporate the Kriyas that will bring us closer to the essence of that particular Mantra. Expect the emphasis to be light on asana, very focused on breath, chanting and meditation.
